What are TechShield waterproof gloves made of?

—The main functional layer is the Porelle® membrane, which is produced in England. It is this membrane that makes DexShell gloves waterproof and “breathable.” The elastic and durable Porelle® membrane works due to the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the gloves.

—The inner layer consists of moisture-wicking Coolmax® fiber, which is produced by the American company DuPont based on polyester. Coolmax® has antibacterial properties, and the special structure of the fiber allows moisture to be quickly removed from the body surface - which is especially important during intense physical exertion.

—The top layer is half made of high-tech polyethylene fabric developed by the European company Dyneema® - a fiber 15 times stronger than steel and at the same time very light and flexible. Another feature of DexShell TechShield is a special protective coating on the palm side that will not allow the gloves to slip, even if the outer layer of the gloves gets wet.
