The shoe covers are sewn in such a way that they completely cover the toe and instep of the foot, as well as the heel and leg above the ankle. Their toe is sealed in such a way as to withstand the mechanical stress that a similar part of any shoe is exposed to. All seams are very strong and made flat so as not to press, despite the fact that the shoe covers are tight-fitting. The sole of Heavy Duty Overshoes is made semi-open so that the shoe covers hold well and do not fall off the foot, but provide access to the contact area on the cycling shoes, which is attached to the pedal.
