They will be an excellent replacement for dry replaceable shoes if your shoes or boots get soaked through during a hike. The gaiters are also suitable for football players who train in winter on snowy fields.

What are DexShell waterproof socks made of?

DexShell Overcalf socks consist of three layers:

—The main functional layer is the Porelle® membrane, which is produced in England. It is it that makes DexShell socks waterproof, and most importantly, it is responsible for effective sweat removal. The elastic and durable Porelle® membrane works due to the temperature difference inside and outside the sock, which is why it is not recommended to wear DexShell Overcalf gaiters over regular ones.

—The inner layer is made of merino wool. The wool of this breed of New Zealand sheep is considered the softest and helps maintain a constant temperature inside.

—The outer nylon layer makes DexShell gaiters resistant to damage, dense and comfortably close to the leg. The special feature of the DexShell Overcalf model - knee-high - provides additional protection compared to socks.

Inner layer: 40% merino wool, 40% acrylic, 20% nylon

How to wash DexShell Overcalf gaiters:

Wash the socks by hand in cool water (no more than 40°C). Do not wring the product, as this may damage the membrane.

How to dry DexShell Overcalf gaiters:

First, dry the socks inside out, and then dry them on their front side in an upright position outdoors. To prevent the socks from fraying, do not dry them with an iron, on batteries, or near a fire.
