The Dexshell Running Lite 2.0 model is a new generation of membrane socks from the brand, designed for urban wear as well as for active pastimes, including outdoor running, hiking and trail running. The products are made of a thin three-layer material that fits the body like a second skin. It protects the body from external negative factors, such as moisture and wind, keeping your feet completely dry and warm, even if you are outdoors all day in the rain and bad weather.
The outer, perfectly smooth layer of the socks is responsible for the density of the fit and effectively resists the appearance of snagging during prolonged wear and friction against the walls of the shoe during physical activity. The layer consists of 80% nylon, 12% polyester, 5% elastane and 3% cotton.
The inner layer combines 2 types of materials: 60% Coolmax® fiber and 40% nylon. The first material provides rapid removal of excess sweat from the skin of the feet, keeping the feet dry during sports. In addition, this type of fiber is characterized by increased wear resistance, which, in combination with nylon, prevents the socks from stretching and losing their original shape after repeated wearing and washing.
The middle layer of Porelle membrane made in the UK makes the socks completely waterproof. On average, the protection is effective for 8 hours of direct contact with water. After that, the products must be dried before further wearing. The membrane film also prevents the feet from overheating during cold drafts.
The socks are medium length (covering the ankles). Elastic cuffs prevent the material from sliding down the leg and eliminate the possibility of water droplets getting inside through the edges of the products in case of bad weather.
Care
Dexshell Running Lite 2.0 socks require careful care, as the material contains a membrane. It is best to wash the products by hand in warm water (up to 40°C) using a detergent for membrane clothing. After washing, do not twist the material to avoid damaging the membrane.
Socks should not be dried near direct heat sources, as even short-term exposure to elevated temperatures negatively affects the integrity of functional fibers.
