Dexshell Terrain Walking 2.0 socks are an ultra-dense model for wearing both in the city and in the field during bad weather, when long-term protection of the feet from moisture and cold is needed in winter and demi-season.
A special feature of the model is the inclusion of natural merino wool in the outer and inner layers to maximize the preservation of natural warmth of the feet even with low physical activity. In addition, this type of wool has sweat-wicking properties and an antibacterial effect, preventing the growth of fungi and bacteria on the nails and skin of the feet.
The model is sewn from three layers of material with different compositions. Each type of fiber performs separate functions, contributing to comfortable wearing and maintaining foot health. The layers are combined using patented DexTretch technology. As a result, the material's ability to stretch in four directions is maintained for a comfortable fit on the feet without a feeling of squeezing.
The top layer is made of 33% nylon, 32% acrylic, 30% merino wool and 5% elastane. The smooth surface of the material prevents snagging and has enough elasticity to prevent the socks from deforming and losing their shape after repeated wear and washing.
The inner layer, consisting of 38% merino wool, 38% acrylic and 24% nylon, gives your feet softness and allows you to forget about calluses, in particular thanks to the absence of protruding seams.
The Porelle membrane makes the socks 100% windproof and waterproof. The membrane looks like a thin film with micropores that prevent water droplets from seeping through the material and getting your feet wet. The protection is effective for 8 hours of direct contact with a humid environment, after which it is enough to let the products dry before further wearing.
The Dexshell Terrain Walking 2.0 model covers the legs up to the middle of the calf, providing light support to the arch of the foot and calf muscles to avoid the occurrence of micro-stretches. Elastic cuffs do not allow the material to slide on the body during movement. Sealing inserts in the toe and heel areas prevent skin from rubbing against the walls of the shoe.
Care
It is recommended to hand wash the socks in warm water (temperature ≤ 40°C) using gentle detergents designed for membrane clothing. Never twist the material - this may damage the membrane layer and lose its waterproof properties.
To speed up the drying process, dry your socks inside out first, then inside out. Choose a location as far away from direct heat as possible, as high temperatures can damage the fibers and cause the material to split.
