Dexshell Wading Pro waterproof socks are designed for those users who spend a long time in the field and need reliable protection of their feet from moisture and cold. The model is made of a particularly dense material that prevents wetting and hypothermia of the limbs in winter and demi-season.
Dexshell Wading Pro are functional knee-length golf socks. One of the main features of the model is the presence of waterproof inserts in the cuff area, made using the patented Dexlok® technology. The cuffs tightly cover the upper part of the calf and prevent water from overflowing over the edges of the products, even if its level exceeds the height of the socks.
In size XL socks, the cuffs can stretch between 27 and 33 cm.
The main component of the sock material is a thin Porelle membrane, sealed between two other layers. This is a hydrophilic film that acts as a barrier between the feet and the humid environment, leaving no chance for water to penetrate inside. The membrane works most effectively during the first 8 hours of direct contact with water. As a result, the user can even move freely along a flooded bank - their feet will still remain dry. After 8 hours of wearing, it is recommended to let the products dry before putting them on again.
The top layer is made of 95% nylon and 5% elastane. It has a nearly perfect smooth surface, minimizing the likelihood of snagging on the fabric. The layer also repels small dirt, allowing you to wash your socks much less often.
The bottom layer combines 4 types of fibers: 40% acrylic, 18% nylon, 2% elastane and, most importantly, 40% merino wool, which gives the products excellent heat-retaining properties. Wool slows down the process of losing natural heat, keeping it inside the socks and thus preventing your feet from freezing in bad weather. In addition, wool removes excess sweat from the skin and has a mild antibacterial effect on nails and sensitive skin of the feet.
Care
Given the inclusion of many fibers in the upper and lower layers of the material, as well as the presence of a membrane layer, Dexshell Wading Pro socks can only be washed by hand in warm water (temperature up to 40°C). It is recommended to use a special detergent for washing clothes with a membrane.
Do not wring out the socks after washing - this may damage the membrane.
Products are dried first on the inside, and then on the front side. For this, a place as far away from heat sources as possible is suitable (high temperatures cause the material to separate).
