Dexshell StretchFit 2.0 are advanced medium-density gloves designed for use in the demi-season, when the air temperature ranges from 0°C to 10°C. The products are suitable not only for everyday city walks, but also for outdoor sports.
Like other waterproof clothing from the brand, this model is made of multi-layer material, however, despite its density, it does not constrain the hands in movement, as the layers are combined using the patented Dexfuze® micro-dot bonding technology. As a result, the material retains its ability to stretch repeatedly in all directions, which facilitates the process of putting on/taking off the gloves from the hands and improves the quality of the fit.
The basis of the material is a Porelle membrane, which is sealed between the upper and inner layers. The membrane makes the gloves completely waterproof and also prevents cold air from penetrating through the fabric.
The lining is made of knitwear, which includes 40% merino wool, 40% acrylic, 18% polyamide and 2% elastane. Natural wool is known for its softness and heat-retaining properties. It retains natural heat and prevents hands from overheating on frosty days. In addition, wool has an antibacterial effect due to the content of bactericidal protein, which kills harmful bacteria and prevents the appearance of unpleasant odors.
The outer layer in the palm area is made of 64% viscose, 32% nylon and 4% elastane. The surface is complemented by a variety of non-slip elements to improve the retention of small objects. The composition of the top layer material on the back of the palm includes 98% nylon and 2% elastane, which positively affects the wear resistance of the product.
The pads of the thumb and index finger have thick polyester pads. They are designed to interact with touch screens of smartphones and other gadgets.
The update also affected the cuffs, which have become even more elastic for a firm fixation of the gloves on the wrists. Ropes with carabiners on the cuffs allow you to attach the products to a belt or bag.
Care
The multi-layer material of the Dexshell StretchFit 2.0 gloves should be hand washed using a detergent designed for membrane clothing. The water temperature should not exceed 40°C.
Do not twist the gloves after washing to avoid damaging the membrane. Dry the products as far away from direct heat sources as possible - this will preserve the integrity of the membrane layer and extend the service life of the gloves.
