The SAS Smock jacket from the Polish brand Helikon-Tex belongs to the category of military workwear designed to be worn in difficult weather conditions to protect the body from the negative effects of low air temperature, drafts, and moisture.
The prototype of the jacket is the uniform of the British Special Forces (SAS), which since World War II has been valued for its comfortable cut, the presence of pockets, and the use of lightweight materials that protect against the weather.
Universal cut with functional elements
This is a versatile piece of military clothing, as it has a simple cut with multiple adjustments. The width of the hood is adjustable not only at the front but also at the back, allowing you to adapt the size depending on personal preferences, type of headgear, etc.
The drawstrings at the waist and bottom also allow you to quickly adjust the fit of the jacket to your body. For added comfort, there are ventilation inserts in the armpits.
Unique material for maximum comfort
The jacket is made of DuraCanvas® material, developed by Helikon-Tex. It consists of polyester, cotton and elastane fibers, which give the fabric high strength and tear resistance.
The material is also characterized by water-repellent properties (it can be additionally treated with wax), which increases protection against precipitation.
Plenty of pockets for every need
The jacket has 8 pockets. Among them are 4 external classic pockets fastened with Canadian buttons and 2 pockets under the external pockets with side zippers.
Each chest pocket has a loop for attaching small equipment. Additional loops are sewn on both sides of the jacket, on which, for example, gloves can be fixed.
