Therefore, an accessory such as Fenix ALD-02 will be very useful. This mount is a set of four small hooks. They are made of high-quality and safe plastic. These hooks are fixed on the underside of the helmet or hard hat, and the elastic strap of the flashlight attachment is pushed under the hooks. Thus, the strap is additionally pressed against the helmet and will no longer slip or turn. In addition, the hooks can also be used to press the wire, if we are talking about flashlight models with an external compartment for installing batteries.
The hooks of this mount are quite flexible and will fit helmets of various designs. But the prerequisite is that the thickness of their walls must be at least 6 mm, so this mount cannot be used with helmets for which a foam base is made and for fully protected helmets. Otherwise, it will be useful for both professionals (for example, search and rescue workers) and amateurs (tourists, sportsmen-spelers, diggers).
