Description of the Fenix LR36R handheld laser searchlight:
The Fenix LR36R flashlight is a specialized model for operation in extreme conditions, in particular for search and rescue operations, where bright and stable light is a necessity for successful task completion.
The device operates on the basis of 13 emitters that generate different types of lighting:
12 Luminus SST 25 LEDs (color temperature 6000K – 6700K) for a wide beam spotlight with a brightness of 10,000 lm;
1 CT1-Mini diode laser with a range of 1260 m for use as a light guide and spot illumination of individual objects.
One of the features of the flashlight is the presence of an OLED display, which displays basic information: current light power, charge level, and remaining operating time.

The Fenix LR36R has 9 modes, which are divided into 4 groups according to the type of lighting:
Spotlight group
High: 10,000 lm – 26,700 cd – 2 hours 3 minutes – 326 m;
Average: 5000 lm – 11231 cd – 2 h 32 min – 212 m;
Low: 50 lm – 101 cd – 102 h – 20 m.
Laser group
High: 350 lm – 396600 cd – 4 hours 3 minutes – 1260 m;
Low: 50 lm – 69513 cd – 16 h 30 min – 527 m.
Combined group (spotlight + laser)
High: 10,000 lm – 390,600 cd – 2 hours 27 minutes – 1,250 m;
Low: 100 lm - 66286 cd - 15 h - 514 m.
Special group
Stroboscope: 10,000 lm;
SOS: 50 lm – 69513 cd – 38 h – 527 m.
Importantly! The operating time in High modes is calculated in the sum of the operating time in less powerful modes, to which the system automatically switches when it heats up to 60°C and the overheating protection is triggered. You can use the brightest modes again when the internal electronics cool down.
It is controlled by an electronic button and a rotary switch that allows you to adjust the brightness of the light with one hand.
Power source
The Fenix LR36R is powered by multiple 21700 batteries with a total capacity of 10,000 mAh (batteries are included). The model's operating voltage is in the range of 2.8 - 4.2 V.
Battery charging is available directly in the battery compartment via a USB Type-C input port hidden under a protective cap in the head of the flashlight. A full charge takes 3.5 - 4 hours.
Physical parameters
The aluminum body is not afraid of shocks in the event of a fall from a height of 1 m and is immune to rust, which is relevant for operation in a humid environment. The model can also be used in bad weather: tightness according to the IP68 standard guarantees complete protection of the internal electronics from water and dirt.
Given the phenomenal power, the body has heat dissipation ribs that accelerate the cooling of the device after prolonged use. At the same time, the flashlight is adapted to be held with one hand, and for additional insurance, you can attach a lanyard to the structure and throw it over your wrist to protect the model from accidental drops.
