Description of the BRS-5 gas burner:

The BRS-5 torch has an ultra-lightweight design and is intended for use in field conditions during mountain climbing, where the weight of the equipment plays a key role. The model works on butane and is capable of generating a flame with a power of 1940 W, due to which 1 liter of water can be brought to a boil within 3 minutes and 50 seconds.

The burner is mounted on a gas cylinder and is attached using a threaded connection. For greater structural stability, it is recommended to additionally use a folding stand for the cartridge - in this case, you can place large dishes on the burner without the risk of it falling during cooking. The accessory is ignited using piezo ignition (ceramics), eliminating the need for the user to contact an open flame source and reducing the risk of burns to zero. Fuel consumption is 140 g/h, so one standard cylinder of 300-450 grams is enough for at least several uses.

The height of the BRS-5 burner in the installed position is 75.4 millimeters, and the diameter, including four folding racks, is 90.9 millimeters, which allows you to freely install most types of portable pots and pans on the structure. The racks have wavy edges that prevent the dishes from sliding on the surface, allowing you to safely stir food during cooking.

The construction uses stainless steel and aluminum-magnesium alloy. This combination allows you to reduce the weight of the product to 94 grams without compromising its strength. The materials are not afraid of prolonged contact with moisture and acids, so corrosion spots do not appear on the surface, and the impact resistance of metals allows you to avoid deformation of the structure and its failure in the event of mechanical impact during transportation or falling.

When folded, the dimensions of the torch are only 59.7 x 75.3 millimeters, so it fits easily into the pocket of a hiking backpack, leaving enough space for the rest of your equipment.
