Its blade is made of hardened Swedish-made stainless steel, Sandvik 12C27. This material has excellent strength, impact strength and is almost completely resistant to corrosion.

In the open and closed positions, the knife is fixed using a Slip-Joint lock. This mechanism has a fairly simple design and also functions as a backspacer.

The handle of the Ruike S11 knife is a combination of a pair of metal liners and two G10 overlays. They have a textured surface, which provides good grip with the palm, even when working with gloves.
