The Ganzo G8012 model is a modern knife for real "survivors". It provides for all those moments that become relevant when we are directly faced with the need to use a knife in an extreme situation. The Ganzo G8012 is made of stainless steel. This is an alloy 7Cr17, known for its good combination of corrosion resistance and hardening hardness. Despite the fact that the alloy does not rust, it is not such a soft metal. It can be hardened to 57 HRC. So, the Ganzo G8012 sharpens well and only periodically requires sharpening.

The cutting edge of the knife has a straight-edge sharpening. So, the knife is suitable for cutting any materials. Its length of 11.5 cm is enough for the convenience of performing a variety of tasks: from cooking food on a hike, to sharpening wooden pegs or cutting ropes. By the way, the surface of the blade is dark. This coating removes all glare, makes the metal even more resistant to any types of corrosion, and allows you to classify the Ganzo G8012 model as a tactical knife.

The blade is rigidly fixed to the handle. The handle itself is made of thermoplastic, known as ABS. This material is both lightweight and durable, convenient for use in different weather conditions throughout the year. Regarding the color of the handle for the Ganzo G8012, manufacturers offer two options: black with orange and green with black.

The sheaths for the Ganzo G8012 are made in the same style as the handle. They can be attached to a belt or stored in a backpack. The sheaths are made of plastic and nylon elements. They completely cover the knife blade and partially the handle. You can also thread a cord into the sheath to attach it to a backpack and insure against the loss of the knife. On the blade side, the sheath has a sharp rope cutter made of two crossed blades built into it, which can be used to cut ropes in an emergency. If you need to sharpen the knife during a trip to nature, the authors of this model suggest using the diamond planer built into the sheath. It is suitable for a smoothly sharpened section of the blade. Another additional accessory is a flint, which can be removed from the sheath. In addition to everything, the knife handle contains a broken glass - a small element in the end part of the handle, the purpose of which is indicated by its name.

The glass breaker is attached to the thread retainer. To avoid breaking the thread, it is strictly not recommended to try to unscrew it!
