Description of the Civivi Elementum C907T-A folding knife
The C907T knife is a model with an "Amertanto" blade. This shape differs from the Japanese tanto in a rather sharp angle of convergence of the cutting edges. This allows for an accentuated cut. The blade is made of D2 tool steel. This is a "semi-stainless steel" with a low chromium content, so it does not belong to corrosion-resistant steel, it requires at least minimal care. Due to the high carbon content, the steel cuts well, is characterized by high hardness and toughness, and also retains its sharpness even after serious loads.
The blade finish is BlackWash, which looks like an artificially aged black coating. The black copper scales with hand polishing give the knife a great aesthetic look. It also helps to hide minor scratches that may appear during work.
The handle has smooth shapes, it is comfortable for any grip. The liners are skeletonized, which allows you to reduce weight, they protrude beyond the overlays. This is a rather interesting design solution. The overlays are not subject to oxidation, because they are made of brass - an alloy of copper, tin and zinc. This gives the handle strength, and also emphasizes the peculiarity of the knife. The deep-seated clip allows you to completely hide the knife in your pocket. The weight of such a knife is 132 g. It is quite light and compact, it can be placed in a hiking backpack or bag.
