The Firebird FH924 folding model is the embodiment of simplicity and efficiency, which makes the tool a practical EDC assistant in almost any situations that arise in everyday life, in urban and field conditions.

The 65 mm long knife blade has an unusual shape for the brand's tools called "Worncliff". Its distinctive feature is a smooth cutting edge, which is formed due to a sharp narrowing from the butt to the tip and gives the user the opportunity to effectively use the entire length of the blade, unlike analogues with a classic blade shape. The blade guarantees a smooth cut, and the thin tip is suitable for scraping and other tasks where filigree accuracy is required.

The blade material is D2 tool steel. The metal is resistant to abrasive influences, as it contains a large amount of chromium, and the carbon content of about 1.5% makes the brand insensitive to compressive loads. The blade is treated to a hardness of ±60 HRC in combination with its thickness of 3.4 mm, which guarantees that the knife will not deform or break under intense loads.

The speed of opening the structure is ensured by a through hole at the base of the blade. With its help, the user can pick up the blade with a finger and instantly open the accessory to fixation. This is convenient to do with both the right and left hands. The model uses the Liner Lock lock - a classic among folding knives. The mechanism with a locking plate can withstand a load of up to 70 kg, so the knife does not fold with strong pressure on the blade. At the same time, the lock does not require regular maintenance: it is enough to make sure that dirt, sawdust and grains of sand do not get inside the structure, which can negatively affect the operation of the mechanism.

The Firebird FH924 knife is convenient to use despite its miniature dimensions, which are 16 cm in the open position. This is due to the use of G10 overlays on the handle - wear-resistant fiberglass with a rough surface, which reduces the slipping of the accessory in the palm of your hand. The composite belongs to heat- and frost-resistant materials, does not crack when falling from a height of human height and does not change color if drops of salt water, acid or grease get on the surface.

When folded, the dimensions of the tool do not exceed 9.5 cm, so the accessory can be hidden in the glove compartment of a car, in the pocket of a backpack or worn on a belt, securing the accessory with a two-position clip. The weight of the model is only 84 grams.
