Description of the Sencut Crowley S21012-3 folding knife
The D2 blade material is one of the most popular knife steels in the world. This material contains 12% chromium, so it cannot be called stainless, but D2 resists corrosion quite well. Thanks to the use of such steel, it is possible to keep a sharp cutting edge well, while D2 has good impact toughness.
The knife has a special opening/closing mechanism that works very smoothly thanks to ceramic ball bearings. After opening, the blade is fixed with a reliable push-button lock. The stop will not allow your hand to slip off the edge.
This knife can be carried safely and discreetly thanks to the deep pocket clip. The clip can be attached to either side of the knife to carry the accessory on the right or left side.
The blade is made of 9Cr18MoV - a stainless steel equivalent to 440B steel. Thanks to this, the blade retains its sharpness for a long time and is quite easy to sharpen at home. The blade has a black coating. Therefore, traces of use will be almost invisible.
The handle is made of Micarta. This is a composite material made of flax and synthetic resin, which provides good grip. Micarta is strong, non-slip, does not absorb odors and is quite comfortable for the hand. In addition, the material has a beautiful appearance, is durable, tolerates temperature changes well, and does not react with many chemicals.
