Civivi Circulus is a fixed blade pocket knife, created according to the same scheme as the Minimis, with a slightly pointed tip. The knife was designed by Ostap Hel, a full-time designer and manufacturer of custom knives and equipment from Poland. He had a talent for drawing since childhood. In his teens, Ostap showed a keen interest in knives and cold weapons in general, as he was fascinated by the Middle Ages and weapons and equipment of knights. For about a year, he worked as an apprentice in a gunsmith's workshop and gained some experience, in particular, traditional technologies for manufacturing weapons and armor of medieval knights. Since then, he began to look for his own design solutions and began a long journey from the first locksmithing work to the use of CNC machines when creating knives in the formation of his own workshop. Today, Ostap Hel is a fairly well-known designer who designs and creates custom knives and EDC equipment. Despite the fact that his works are based on basic geometry, smooth transitions, and the golden ratio, Ostap is not afraid to experiment with new forms and ideas.

The skeletonized shape helps reduce the overall weight of the accessory. The knife is so light that you may not feel it in your hand. The kit includes a pocket case for easy and convenient carrying and a lanyard to help you not lose it.

The knife comes with a lanyard with a CIVIVI branded bead. The knife is additionally equipped with clips.

The knife is made of 10Cr15CoMoV steel. This is a steel with corrosion-resistant properties, similar in characteristics to VG-10. Depending on the heat treatment, this steel can have a hardness of 58 to 64 HRC. This type of steel has a fairly high wear resistance, holds the cutting edge well due to the presence of vanadium in the composition.

Additionally, the blade is covered with Stonewash, such a surface allows you to hide small scratches. The small thickness of the blade combined with Flat Grind grinding provides excellent cutting edge geometry and extraordinary cutting efficiency.

Due to the high content of chromium and molybdenum, the material has high resistance to corrosion, which is why this steel is often used to make kitchen knives.

10Cr15CoMoV steel has an average sharpening difficulty.

The case is made of Kydex. Thanks to the built-in clip, it can be attached to a belt or the edge of a pocket.
