This knife was designed by Slovakian-born American knifemaker Mike Gavko (Gavko Knives). He has always loved outdoor activities and started out with high-performance fixed blades and choppers, but over the years he found his calling in folding pocket knives.

The blade is in the shape of a reverse Tanto made of 14C28N steel. Due to its corrosion resistance, this knife can be used in harsh conditions. This shape of the blade gives the knife greater penetrating power. The blade is made of 14C28N Sandvik - high-quality steel with increased corrosion resistance. 14C28N steel is an ideal option for a folding knife. It contains almost no phosphorus and sulfur impurities, so contact with food is completely safe. In addition, the material is characterized by strength and durability.

The handle is made of G10 fiberglass - a composite material based on fiberglass and epoxy resin. During the production process, fiberglass is soaked in resins, after which it is compressed. As a result, the material is resistant to environmental factors, which allows it to be used in adverse conditions. G10 is a strong and impact-resistant material, perfectly tolerates contact with moisture and lends itself well to painting. Externally, this material is very similar to micarta, but surpasses it in strength and fire resistance.

G-10 has a distinctive contour and texture. This model features a stone-effect handle. With its unique design and sturdy construction, the Spiny Dogfish will be a great tool for any task.
