Description of the Civivi Odium C2010 folding knife

The design was developed by the Ferrum Forge Knife Works workshop, which was created by American knifemaker Elliot Williamson together with his brother Chris Williamson back in 2009. Thanks to their grandfathers, the brothers received their first knives at the age of four. That's when the boys' love for swords and knives began. Over time, this grew into creating their own models in the garage. Elliot learned the principles of metallurgy, made his first sketches and started forging right there. He filmed the creation process on an old digital camera and posted it on YouTube, which brought him popularity in many corners of the world. The products were popular and the company subsequently grew significantly. The brothers' goal was to create good tools that people want to use. The craftsmen took everything they had learned from all the years of hard work designing and making knives, both successful and unsuccessful, and teamed up with the best manufacturers in the world to create a production line of pocket knives for anyone and everyone who can use a knife. That's why a model like the Civivi Odium C2010 was born.

The blade is quite short, its length is only 67 mm, but it is wide enough at the base, which gives it special strength. This made it possible to extend the line of the cutting edge, which bends evenly to the very tip. Straight descents are made at 2/3 of the blade height. A blade with such geometry not only cuts well, but is also extremely convenient for performing small jobs.

D2 tool steel provides excellent performance properties while maintaining sharpness for a long time. The blade is hardened to 58-60HRC.

The knife opens by pressing directly on the flipper, or the blade is easily pulled out through the large opening. Reliable fixation is provided by the steel Liner Lock.

Thanks to the Black Stonewashed finish, the blade can hide minor surface scratches that appear over time.

The handle has a large finger groove, which makes holding the knife as comfortable as possible. A secure grip is provided by the areas with cuts located along the contour, as well as the textured surface of the pads. The pads are made of durable and lightweight Micarta material. They are fixed on lightweight steel liners.

The knife is equipped with a large metal clip for carrying in your pocket.
