The M662-TZ model is a reinterpretation of the P662-B knife, which has long been loved by many users and is among the top most popular tools of the Ruike company. The knife is the embodiment of style and simplicity, which makes it ergonomic and easy to use.
To give the blade high strength and durability, 154SM steel is used in its production. It is a premium grade containing a large amount of chromium (±14%) and carbon (1.1%). Chromium gives the metal corrosion resistance, and carbon increases the hardness of the blade to prevent minor damage to the edge.
The Ruike M662-TZ blade has an unusual wharncliffe shape, suitable for neat cuts. The hardness of the steel is 58-60 HRC, and taking into account the blade thickness of 3.5 mm, this gives the knife the ability to withstand increased loads. The blade length is 74 mm. The Bead Blasted finish gives the steel a matte finish that hides small scratches on the surface.
At the base of the blade there is a pin, when pressed, you can quickly open the blade to the lock. The blade is held by the Frame Lock and closed with one hand, so that the user spends a minimum of time on it. Multiple notches on the butt side, closer to the base of the blade, act as a finger rest if you plan to pierce or cut particularly dense objects.
The handle is combined. One side is made of TC4 titanium, and the other is made of G10 fiberglass. Titanium is completely rustproof and reduces the weight of the structure to 60 grams. Fiberglass makes it easier to hold the tool due to the rough surface, so the knife does not slip out of your hand even when wet. At the same time, both materials are quickly cleaned, which is especially important in field conditions. There is a pocket clip at the tail of the handle, fixed with two screws. Thanks to its specificity, the knife can be carried in a pocket of clothing completely unnoticed by other people.
