The laconic design is one of the advantages of the Ganzo G704 knife, thanks to which it has found a response in the hearts of fans of folding EDC tools. But despite its visual simplicity, the model has everything necessary for effective and convenient use both within the city and in field conditions, for example, during a tourist trip, fishing or hunting.
The blade with the Drop Point profile, which is considered a classic in folding knives, is responsible for high-quality cutting. The straight blade with a length of 86 mm cuts materials of various densities, while the thin tip can pierce fabric and even wood. The blade thickness reaches 3.8 mm, guaranteeing resistance to deformation. Approximately ½ of the length of the butt is occupied by a false blade, and closer to the base of the blade there are multiple notches for a comfortable thumb rest.
The blade material is 440C steel, one of the most popular brands found in everyday tools. The metal has a high resistance to rust formation, as it contains 17-18% chromium. The inclusion of about 1% carbon together with heat treatment gives the metal a standard hardness of 58-60 HRC. The black coating on the blade has a positive effect on the strength characteristics of the steel. In addition, it is a decoration of the design.
A double-sided key is used to open the structure. The Axis Lock pin lock guarantees safety, firmly locking the blade during use.
The handles are made of G10 fiberglass, which prevents the structure from slipping in the palm of your hand due to its rough surface. This composite withstands prolonged exposure to extremely low and high air temperatures, mechanical stress, and does not change color in case of contact with acids, oils, and other aggressive compounds.
The length of the handle is 114 mm. It is complemented by a steel clip that allows the user to wear the tool on clothing. The weight of the Ganzo G704 is 140 grams.
