The Weknife Kitefin 2001G folding knife is distinguished by its lightweight design (only 81.7 g), which is designed specifically for everyday use. In the folded position, its length does not exceed 108 mm, which, together with the clip, simplifies the transportation of the tool. By the way, the clip is two-position: it can be fixed on the right or left side of the handle, adapting to the individual carrying style.
The blade has a drop point shape, which makes it versatile: the blade with a straight sharpening effectively copes with cutting, and the thin tip with piercing work. The blade is based on CPM S35VN steel with a hardness of 59-61 HRC. This is a stainless alloy that holds sharpening well, is not afraid of high loads and resists the appearance of chips and deformations on the cutting edge.
The model opens by pressing the flipper fin. When opening for the first time, it is impossible not to notice the smoothness of the blade thanks to ceramic ball bearings. In the open position, the blade is held by a frame lock.
The handle is made of 6AL4V titanium, which is considered the strongest titanium alloy with outstanding mechanical properties. The metal does not chip, does not rust, and most importantly, it makes the design lighter. In addition, in this model, titanium has a color coating, which gives the knife a unique look.
