The blade is made of Swedish Sandvik 14C28N steel. Its hardness is within 58-60 HRC. This steel contains about 14% chromium, therefore it belongs to the stainless steel grades, capable of maintaining the sharpness of the cutting edge for a long period. In addition, the metal is easy to care for and maintain.

The 88.4 mm long blade has a straight edge. The spear point blade is effective in piercing work, and its 3 mm thickness prevents metal deformation. The knurling on the butt is designed for thumb support, making the knife more comfortable for tasks that require a lot of physical strength.

The structure is opened by pressing on the steel fin. Civivi Caetus opens instantly thanks to ceramic ball bearings. The type of locking mechanism is a liner lock.

The ergonomics of the 12 mm thick handle are ensured by a pair of embossed Micarta inserts. Among the advantages of the material are: water resistance, resistance to temperature changes, and a dense structure that prevents the absorption of odors. The edges of the inserts are rounded so that the handle does not rub the palm of the hand during prolonged use of the knife.
