The C20022-2 knife from the Civivi brand is one of the EDC variations of the Chevalier model, which is distinguished by a strict design with a black blade. The sharp blade has a straight sharpening, which is universal for most tasks, and the handle with smooth bends increases ergonomics, so the tool is equally well suited for everyday wear and for use in more difficult conditions, for example, during a tourist trip or fishing.

The blade with an unusual sheepfoot shape is characterized by a smooth rounding of the butt down to the cutting edge. This reduces the risk of accidental puncture wounds during operation of the tool, which has a positive effect on the safety of use. Sandvik 14C28N steel is the material of the blade. This is a Swedish brand with anti-corrosion properties, which is hardened to a hardness of 57-59 HRC. The blackwash coating on the metal is not only a design decoration, but also has a practical benefit: it makes the blade even stronger and prevents its oxidation.

The blade length reaches 88 mm. Thanks to the 3 mm thick butt, the Chevalier knife demonstrates stability when cutting materials of different densities. A steel flipper is provided for removing the blade from the handle, and the blade is fixed by a button lock with an elastic button. The axial unit with ceramic ball bearings makes the blade open smoothly.

The handle is made of dark green micarta, which provides an excellent grip even with a wet palm. Micarta is a strong and moisture-resistant composite that is not afraid of significant temperature changes and does not react with most chemicals, such as acid or gasoline.

The knife weighs only 90.5 grams. It is light and comfortable to carry, as the manufacturer equipped the model with a clip that can be attached to the right or left side of the handle.
