The all-metal construction (full tang) makes the Civivi Vaquita II a durable and hard-wearing everyday tool, despite its diminutive size. It is a scaled-down version of the full-size Vaquita tool, designed by knife designer Nate Matlack.

The blade shape is a kukri with pronounced curved lines that facilitate both cutting and piercing materials of different densities. The sharp tip instantly penetrates the material, and the straight cutting edge with a length of 85.7 mm is versatile in use and easy to sharpen.

Nitro-V steel in the blade provides the tool with resistance to shock loads and durability due to the content of vanadium and nitrogen, which increase the anti-corrosion properties of the metal. The hardness of the brand is 59-61 HRC. The blade surface is satin-finished, so it does not leave fingerprints on it, and small scratches are invisible. The blade length reaches 81.3 mm.

To make the knife comfortable and durable to hold, its handle is supplemented with pads on both sides of the structure. Their material is G10 fiberglass, which is widely used in the knife industry due to the optimal ratio of such qualities as impact and heat resistance, and resistance to moisture. The weight of the model is 39 grams. There is a through hole for a lanyard in the tail.

The delivery set includes a black Kydex sheath, in which the fixed knife is stored without play and additional noise during transportation. The sheath has a hole for draining water, as well as seven holes on the sides of the accessory, which offer an unlimited number of options for carrying the tool. You can thread a string through them and fix the sheath on a belt or backpack strap. The steel chain included in the set is suitable for wearing the knife around the neck.
