Description of the Weknife Mini Synergy 2011CF-A folding knife:

The Mini Synergy 2011 line of folding knives was released by We Knife in 2020. The prototype of the series' tools was the Synergy model of the same name by designer Jim O'Young, which was released back in 1999 and immediately won the "Most Innovative Design" nomination at the Blade Show knife exhibition that same year.

The 2011 CF-A is a scaled-down version of the base model. Its overall length is 176 mm, and high-quality materials are used in its production, which not only prolongs the service life of the structure, but also makes its appearance unique.

The blade has an unusual trailing point geometry with a raised butt line. The shape is distinguished by a raised and pointed tip, which improves the penetrating ability of the tool. The sharp blade with a length of 74.4 mm is convenient for cutting materials of different densities. In particular, this blade format is widely used by hunters, since it can be used to easily remove the skin from caught game.

Powder steel CPM 20CV is the blade material. The brand is produced by the American concern Crucible Industries and combines corrosion resistance with effective resistance to the appearance of cracks and deformations of the cutting edge. This steel is not afraid of hard work, including due to heat treatment, during which the hardness of the metal reaches the reference value of 59-61 HRC. Honing the blade makes the surface matte, so fingerprints and scuffs become less noticeable.

The knife features a ceramic ball bearing in the axial assembly and a frame lock, which makes the blade move smoothly and its fixation reliable. The design opens with one hand movement, for this it is enough to press the steel fin.

The handle is made of 6AL4V titanium inlaid with carbon inserts. The advantages of titanium: strength, resistance to chemical agents and lightness. The latter characteristic has a positive effect on the total weight of the structure, which is only 81 grams.

A single-position clip, also made of titanium, is attached to the right side of the handle. There is an oval hole for a lanyard in the tail of the knife.
