Since its release in 2020, the Banter 2004 pocket knife line has become legendary, winning the hearts of knife lovers with a practical design that is unlike any other tool in its size. These knives, including the Banter 2004H, are the brainchild of knifemaker Ben Petersen. His goal was to create a functional everyday tool that would embody the best qualities of EDC knives, but could boast a unique design. In collaboration with the company We Knife, Petersen managed to make his dream a reality, and knife lovers received a truly durable tool that cuts as well as it looks.

The Banter 2004H design is distinguished by its miniature dimensions. Its total length is 165.6 mm, of which 73.7 mm is the blade. In the folded position, the length of the knife is reduced to 91.9 mm, making it easier to carry in a pocket, which is also facilitated by its light weight, equal to 75.4 grams, and a tight two-position clip.

American CPM S35VN steel, used in the production of the leaf-shaped blade, belongs to the premium class metals. The brand has an ideal balance between strength, corrosion resistance and ease of processing. The steel owes these characteristics to a balanced composition, which includes niobium, which makes the straight blade practically invulnerable to chipping under extreme loads. The blade has a black coating and is processed by the tumbling method.

The design is opened manually by pressing on a double-sided 6AL4V titanium pin. A nested liner lock firmly fixes the blade after opening.

The handle material is carbon with a marble-like pattern. The composite is characterized by its rigidity and resistance to mechanical damage, which makes it comparable even to steel. The handle thickness is 11.5 mm.
