The discreet design of the knife combined with a sleek 30.7 mm wide construction makes the Civivi Voltaic a versatile and comfortable to carry assistant in everyday tasks. The materials, most of which are stainless steel, also allow the model to be used in field conditions, where the strength and durability of the tool are of particular value.

The Voltaic knife was developed with the help of Civivi's in-house designers. The drop point blade profile with a butt line that smoothly tapers to the tip balances between versatility in use and ease of sharpening. The tool can be used to cut, saw, and pierce materials of different densities thanks to the blade hardness of 57-59 HRC. The butt thickness reaches 3 mm, so the metal can withstand high loads, and the straight blade does not require specific knowledge in processing.

The blade material is Sandvik 14C28N steel from Sweden. The metal contains 14% chromium, which gives the brand excellent corrosion resistance. The matte surface of the blade is the result of a black stonewash treatment, which effectively hides fingerprints and minor scratches.

The Civivi Voltaic model is a flipper knife that opens by pressing on a steel fin. The blade opens very quickly, as there are ceramic ball bearings in the axial assembly. The blade is secured with a nested frame lock.

The steel handle is inlaid with a micarta insert, which decorates the design and prevents it from slipping in the palm of your hand. The length of the handle is 115 mm, so the folding knife weighing 117.7 grams can be freely carried in a pocket of clothing, having previously secured it with a tight clip.
