The Ganzo G768 folding model is a bright and functional universal knife that is not only convenient for performing basic tasks in everyday conditions, but is also capable of coping with difficult challenges in conditions bordering on extreme.
The tool has an aggressive and memorable design, in which the main attention is drawn to the 88 mm long blade. Its clip point profile with a characteristic bevel of the butt closer to the tip of the blade improves the work of the knife for stabbing and allows you to make precise and neat cuts. However, it should be borne in mind that a thin tip is more susceptible to damage, so you should use the blade exclusively for its intended purpose and not test it for strength by subjecting it to excessive loads.
The blade material is D2 steel with a chromium content of 12%. This feature of the composition increases the corrosion resistance of the metal, allowing the knife to be used in almost any conditions. The main thing is not to forget about the need for periodic care of the steel and wipe it dry after each use of the blade.
An equally important feature of the model is the presence of a long finger rest on the 3-millimeter butt, which makes it easier for the owner of a wide palm to hold and use the knife.
The blade is removed from the handle in one of two ways: by pressing the pin or by hooking your finger into the hole closer to the butt. To lock the blade in the open position, simply move the Axis lock pin, after which the tool is ready for use.
Two pads on both sides of the handle are made of G10 fiberglass and provide a comfortable, non-slip grip thanks to the textured and pleasant-to-the-touch surface. Other advantages of the material include: resistance to temperature extremes and chemical compounds, resistance to fading, and high strength, which eliminates the possibility of cracks in the event of an accidental drop of the knife.
The folded dimensions are 117 mm (length) x 12.7 mm (thickness), which, together with the weight of 116.9 g, makes it easy to carry the knife in your pocket. For this purpose, a steel clip is also provided, which can be attached to either the left or right side of the handle.
