Description of the folding knife Civivi Gordo C22018C-2:
The miniature and razor-sharp Civivi Gordo folding knife was designed by American knife designer Peter Carey, who specializes in creating pocket tools that combine cutting quality with ease of use. This model has all these qualities and boasts another - ease of carrying thanks to its ultra-compact design dimensions (length is only 96.6 mm when folded).
The knife has a shortened blade length of 63.8 mm, which allows for maximum control of the tool during use. The blade with a drop point profile has an unusual notch in the area of the 3 mm butt, slightly raising the thumb rest and facilitating the performance of power tasks.
The blade has a straight sharpening. Its material is D2 tool steel, which can be found in many modern folding tools. Such demand is due to the strength and durability of the brand, which also has good anti-corrosion properties. The hardness of the metal is 59-61 HRC. The satin finish on the blade eliminates the glare of the metal and makes small scratches less visible after long use of the tool.
The blade is opened using a flipper, but a double-sided key can be used as an alternative. The blade is smooth-running due to ceramic ball bearings and locks with a characteristic click when opened, held in this position by a liner lock plate.
Despite the small size of the knife, it has excellent ergonomics, which is due to the two pads on the handle. They are made of Micarta with a slightly rough surface, which prevents the palm from slipping on the handle, even if the owner is wearing a glove.
A clip is fixed at the tail of the handle. Together with it, the weight of the Civivi Gordo knife is 78.3 g. There is also a small hole for a lanyard, which can serve as a decoration of the structure.
