The Civivi Brazen folding knife is a sophisticated EDC model developed by the company's in-house designers. Whether traveling, hunting, fishing, or in urban environments, this knife can be carried with you wherever you go, securing the tool to your clothing with a steel clip.
The blade is made of D2 tool steel. This grade is often used by manufacturers in the manufacture of cutting tools, as it demonstrates high strength and retains the sharpness of the cutting edge for a long time. Such a blade is easily sharpened even at home, which is especially convenient if the knife is used on a regular basis. In addition, this grade of steel is unpretentious in care. The user only needs to follow a simple rule - wipe the blade dry after use, especially after contact with fruit acids and salt.
The blade has a tanto shape, which is considered universal for stabbing and cutting work. The hardness of the steel at 58-60 HRC prevents deformation of the straight blade and the appearance of chips, and the black stonewash finish hides fingerprints on the metal.
The blade length is 88 mm. It is easily removed from the handle in one movement thanks to ceramic ball bearings in the axial assembly. To do this, simply press the flipper fin or the double-sided pin. In the open position, the blade is fixed with a liner lock. There is a thumb rest on the 3 mm butt.
The handle consists of steel inserts with G10 fiberglass overlays. This is a strong and lightweight composite made of fiberglass with a binder impregnation in the form of epoxy resin. The handle fits comfortably in the palm of your hand due to the rough texture of the dies and does not tire your hand when using the knife.
When folded, the length of the model does not exceed 114.7 mm. Together with the weight of 108.4 g, this makes it easy to carry the tool in your pocket.
