The Civivi D-Art Skeleton Knife is both a practical tool and a stylish accessory. It's no wonder its name comes from the French phrase "objet d'art," which translates as "object of art."
The tool was developed by knife designer Ostap Hel, who is primarily known for creating tools that combine traditional concepts and modern solutions. The design has a figure-eight shape and is made entirely of D2 steel. This is a durable brand with a balanced composition, which gives the metal wear resistance and high toughness. In addition, the straight blade is easy to sharpen, and the hardness of the steel of the order of 58-60 HRC prevents deformation and chipping on the thin cutting edge.
The steel surface is additionally treated with a stonewash method. This treatment not only gives the structure a unique appearance, but also makes its surface matte, hiding scratches, scuffs and fingerprints.
The hole in the handle is too narrow to insert your fingers into, but it allows you to reduce the weight of the knife to 15.7 g. Considering that this model belongs to the category of neck knives, the low weight has a positive effect on the convenience of carrying the tool around your neck - for this, the manufacturer added a steel chain to the set.
In addition to the chain, the kit also includes a Kydex sheath. They allow you to safely store and carry the knife with you both in the city and far beyond its borders.
