The Civivi Vision FG folding knife is unique not only in its appearance, but also in its design solutions that turn the tool into a truly practical and reliable assistant for solving everyday tasks.
The blade length is 89.9 mm, and its thickness at the butt is 3 mm. The blade is made of high-quality Damascus steel with a hardness of about 58-60 HRC. The metal easily copes with cutting materials of different densities - from cardboard and food products to plastic and wood. In addition, Damascus demonstrates good corrosion resistance and, of course, has unique patterns on the surface, which serve as a unique decoration of the overall design of the structure.
The blade profile is a reverse tanto with an unusual shape, in which the butt line is bent at an obtuse angle relative to the cutting edge. This feature allows the knife to make precise and neat cuts without worrying about the strength of the blade even in the event of a direct hit.
To open the blade, simply press the double-sided key. The blade moves with extreme smoothness - for this, ceramic ball bearings are provided in the axial assembly.
The blade is locked using the innovative superlock locking system developed by WE Knife in collaboration with Malaysian inventor Snecx Tan. The principle of the lock is very simple. There is a titanium rod at the back of the handle, which is fixed below the pocket clip. The tip is pressed into the recess between the blade and the locking pin by a spring in the handle, which leads to the blade being locked. It is enough to press the rod to unlock the blade again and close the structure. These manipulations are equally convenient to perform with both right and left hands, adjusting the knife to your own style of use.
The model's handles are complemented by G10 fiberglass inserts. They have a rough surface, which improves the structure's grip during operation. A number of holes in the inserts reduce the total weight of the knife to 123.4 g, which, taking into account the presence of a stainless steel pocket clip, allows you to carry the tool with you on a permanent basis.
