Description of the Civivi Odium C2010DS-1 folding knife:
The Civivi Odium miniature knife has a folding design that is suitable for everyday pocket carrying and performing tasks of varying complexity. The model was developed by the knife company in collaboration with designers Ferrum Forge Knife Works and boasts premium materials that not only increase the durability of the design, but also give it a unique look.
The wide drop point blade opens with a flipper or thumb hole. The blade has an extremely smooth stroke due to ceramic ball bearings in the pivot assembly.
The blade material is Damascus steel, which belongs to premium quality metals. Among its advantages: cutting efficiency due to hardness of about 58-60 HRC and good corrosion resistance. In addition, Damascus has unusual patterns on the surface that turn the tool into a real work of art.
The blade length is 67.2 mm, and its thickness at the butt is 3 mm. After opening, the blade is fixed with a steel liner lock plate, preventing the knife from folding during use and injuring the hand. There is a long finger rest on the butt.
The handle is decorated with natural Guiburcia wood overlays, polished to perfect smoothness. The material is not afraid of moisture and temperature changes, so it retains its shape even with regular use in the field.
When folded, the length of the knife does not exceed 90 mm. Given the surprisingly low weight of the design (only 68 g), this greatly simplifies carrying the tool.
