Civivi's best-selling Elelementum folding knife is now available in a new fixed blade format. This tool offers increased strength and durability thanks to its minimal construction and is designed for use in the field, such as hiking, hunting or fishing.
The length of the drop point blade reaches 101 mm. It is made of 10Cr15CoMoV steel, which contains about 15% chromium, which gives the metal increased resistance to corrosion. Among other advantages of the brand: exceptional wear resistance and relative ease of sharpening even taking into account the hardness of the steel, which is within 59-61 HRC.
At the final stage of production, the blade is satin-finished. As a result, not only is the shine of the metal eliminated, but scratches and fingerprints on the surface are also matted.
The thickness of the blade at the butt is 3.5 mm, so the tool is not afraid of increased loads. There is a thumb rest at the base of the blade. The guard is responsible for protecting the fingers, which prevents the hand from slipping onto the straight blade during strong pressure on the tip of the blade.
The handle has a rounded shape, which improves the grip of the structure and increases the overall comfort of use without crushing the palm and causing fatigue in the wrist. The handle material is G10 fiberglass, which is not afraid of the effects of chemical compounds, temperature changes and mechanical damage. In addition, this composite does not absorb odors and does not lose color when exposed to direct sunlight for a long time.
The Civivi Elementum fixed knife comes complete with a paracord lanyard, which decorates the design of the structure. The set also includes a branded genuine leather sheath. The sheath fastens with a button, tightly fixing the tool inside, and is equipped with a loop for attaching to a belt.
