The Civivi Sentinel Strike folding knife is a reimagining of the model from WE Knives parent company Ziffius. The new version of the tool has a similar design with a perfectly straight cutting edge, but differs in the materials used. This has a positive effect on the final cost of the knife, making it more affordable.
The black blade has a reverse tanto profile with a characteristic refraction of the butt line to the blade at an obtuse angle. As a result, a long blade and a thin tip are formed on the 94 mm long blade, which facilitates work with the tool for cutting and stabbing.
The blade material is premium Böhler K110 high-chromium steel. The brand has a rich composition, which gives it high toughness, strength and long retention of sharpness. In addition, the hardness of the steel reaches the range of 59-61 HRC, so the blade can be safely used for cutting most materials - from cardboard and rope to plastic and wood.
The manufacturer offers a choice of three options for opening the Civivi Sentinel Strike knife design: pushing the blade with your finger through the hole, pressing the flipper fin or the double-sided pin. Ceramic bearings in the axial assembly guarantee the smoothest movement of the blade, and the button lock firmly fixes the open blade, increasing the safety of operation.
Most of the handle is made of aluminum alloy, which is not susceptible to rust and damage in case of mechanical impact. The insert made of FRN thermoplastic increases the ergonomics of the design, contributing to a comfortable hold due to the textured surface. The handle is also complemented by a pocket clip for convenient carrying of the knife on clothing and a durable glass breaker integrated into the tail of the design.
