The folding design of the Ruike D191 knife has a minimalist design, universal for comfortable use of the tool both in urban environments and in field conditions. One of the advantages of the model is the presence of roller bearings in the axial unit, which improves the smoothness of the blade. In addition, the knife is made of wear-resistant materials that can withstand high loads.
The blade is made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, which is characterized by excellent sharpening retention, ease of processing and high cutting aggressiveness, especially on low and medium density materials. Thanks to cryogenic treatment, the hardness of the grade is in the range of 57-59 HRC.
The handle is equipped with a single G10 fiberglass insert, which increases the comfort of holding the structure. G10 belongs to the category of particularly durable composites and is not afraid of regular temperature changes, mechanical stress and contact with water or aggressive environments such as salts, acids and gasoline. The opposite side of the handle is made of rust-resistant 420 steel.
Both the blade and the steel side of the handle are treated with a black stonewash method. As a result, the metal has acquired a slight matte finish and hides fingerprints.
The blade length reaches 92 mm. It is opened by a flipper fin, and fixed by a Frame lock. The 3.5 mm thick butt has a ribbed thumb rest, which makes it easier to perform particularly difficult tasks that require great physical strength.
In the open position, the model reaches 219 mm in length. At the same time, its weight does not exceed 120 g, taking into account the removable steel clip. The knife can be worn in any convenient way, fixing it on the strap of a backpack, a pocket of clothes or on a belt. The design can also be decorated with a lanyard - a through hole is provided for it in the tail part of the handle.
