The Ruike F186 knife reaches 231 mm in length and features a laconic design with a well-balanced balance between ergonomics and durability of the design. The model is suitable not only for use in nature, but also easily copes with everyday tasks that require a sharp and durable blade.
The fixed blade has a universal straight back profile with an extended cutting edge and a thin tip, which simplifies the performance of pricking and cutting work with the knife. For ease of use during power cutting, small notches are applied to the butt of the blade, forming a thumb rest.
The blade is made of D2 steel, which is characterized by excellent strength, ease of sharpening and good corrosion resistance. Thanks to the hardness of 59-61 HRC, the straight blade effectively cuts materials of various densities - from thick cardboard to hard plastic and even small branches. The gold-tone titanium coating makes the appearance of the knife unique and gives the metal a matte finish, which eliminates any glare and also masks fingerprints on the blade.
This is the first knife in the Ruike range with a handle made of Micarta. The advantages of this material include stability during temperature changes, resistance to moisture and resistance to damage in case of mechanical impact. In addition, Micarta does not absorb odors and does not fade over time, maintaining its original appearance throughout its entire service life.
The grip pads have a figured shape, which increases the ergonomics of the design. This feature, combined with the slightly rough surface of the micarta, makes the grip as secure as possible, without slipping in the palm of your hand. For additional insurance, you can throw a lanyard over your hand (not included). There is a hole in the tail of the handle for attaching the lanyard.
The knife weighs 148 g. The set includes an ABS plastic sheath, complete with a strap with a button for fastening on the belt.
