Description of the Civivi Vaquita II C047C-3 knife:
The Civivi Vaquita II knife, created by designer Nate Matlack, exactly repeats the appearance of the full-size Vaquita model with the difference in ultra-compact dimensions (only 158.3 mm in length). This feature increases the portability of the tool, which can be carried in any convenient way: attached to Molle slings or to the belt using a Kydex sheath or worn around the neck thanks to the steel chain (both accessories are included).
The knife is durable because it has an all-metal construction (full tang), and the kukri-shaped blade gives it versatility in use, making it easy to cut and pierce various materials.
The blade is made of Nitro-V steel, which contains vanadium and nitrogen and is hardened to 59-61 HRC. As a result, the blade boasts high strength, durability and corrosion resistance, without rusting when constantly exposed to moisture and other aggressive environments.
The blade is stonewashed and has a black coating that both decorates and strengthens the blade.
The handle is equipped with Micarta inserts, which makes it comfortable to hold. The material has a pleasant to the touch, slightly rough surface. It also demonstrates resistance to damage in the event of impacts and immunity to the effects of sudden temperature changes.
