The design of the model was developed by Polish designer Ostap Hel and repeats the shape of a pear, after which the knife got its name. A characteristic feature of the product is the ring-shaped handle, into which it is enough to slide your index finger to ensure maximum control over the blade during cutting.
Civivi Pyrus copes with various types of tasks - from cutting cardboard and ropes to sharpening pencils. All thanks to the rounded blade with a Hawkbill profile, resembling a hawk's beak. The blade material is Swedish Sandvik 14c28n stainless steel with a hardness of 57-59 HRC, which allows you to reduce the frequency of sharpening the blade to a minimum and prevent edge deformation.
The design opens by pressing on the steel fin and is fixed with a Slip Joint locking mechanism. To close the knife, simply press on the butt and hide the blade in the handle.
Despite its miniature dimensions (only 57.4 mm when closed), the model is not devoid of ergonomics, which is ensured by rough G10 inserts on the handle. The design also includes a pocket clip that can be used as a money clip or a ring for carrying the knife as a keychain.
