Tradition knives have a traditional handle shape, as well as a scimitar - shaped blade, and can be used in a variety of situations-from a picnic to hunting. Now numbers 1 and 11 are not released.In sizes 6-12, the blades are securely fixed in the open position thanks to the Virobloc® locking system, created by Marcel Opinel in 1955.Opinel Explore is a universal folding knife designed for bushcraft and hunting, but it will also perfectly cope with everyday tasks. It is a continuation of the Tradition line with a classic handle shape made of lightweight polyamide reinforced with fiberglass and a blade made of Swedish stainless steel Sandvik12C27, suitable for performing a wide range of operations. This model is equipped with a signal whistle and a portable flint, which together with the blade of a knife will help to light a fire in any situation, even in conditions of high humidity. Also on the heel there is a ring for attaching a lanyard or a carbine, pressing on which a sharpened hook appears on the other side, which can easily cut various objects, including a rope or belt, a lifeline or slings. The result is a compact, practical and convenient multi-tool with excellent cutting properties! To avoid the appearance of stains on the surface of the blade, we recommend wiping the blade dry after contact with a wet environment. However, the appearance of stains is a chemical reaction of the steel and is not a defect or a warranty case.
