Overview

Tradition knives have a traditional handle shape, as well as a scimitar - shaped blade, and can be used in a variety of situations-from a picnic to hunting. Since 1980, there are twelve sizes in the Tradition collection, 1-12. Now numbers 1 and 11 are not released. In sizes 6-12, the blades are securely fixed in the open position thanks to the Virobloc® locking system, created by Marcel Opinel in 1955.The knives of this series are equipped with blades made of Swedish Sandvik 12C27 steel of excellent quality and exceptional hardness of 57-58 units on the Rockwell scale, thereby guaranteeing impeccable cutting characteristics, anti-corrosion protection and easy sharpening.ATTENTION! To avoid the appearance of stains on the surface of the blade, we recommend wiping the blade dry after contact with a wet environment. However, the appearance of stains is a chemical reaction of the steel and is not a defect or a warranty case.
