Now numbers 1 and 11 are not released.In sizes 6-12, the blades are securely fixed in the open position thanks to the Virobloc® locking system, created by Marcel Opinel in 1955.The Opinel No. 8 VRI Tour de France 2020 knife is a beautiful knife from a limited line of knives dedicated to the most famous and prestigious bicycle race in the world, held for more than a hundred years in France —the Tour de France. The blade of the model is made of modified Sandvik 12C27M stainless steel, hardened to a hardness of 57-58 HRC. The presence of chromium in the composition guarantees good anti-corrosion properties, and the addition of carbon provides excellent cutting characteristics. The ergonomic handle of the classic shape is made of light but durable beech, and is decorated with the engraved logo of the Tour de France race — an echelon of cyclists passing through one of the villages in France. The model comes in a beautiful gift box.
