Overview
The Cara Cara series was modified in 2010 – the overall ergonomics of the knife was improved, the sharpening was changed to a full wedge from the butt, for a softer and smoother opening, the handle is equipped with bronze bushings, and for ease of wearing - a 4-position clip. Like Spyderco knives, Byrd knives are now the object of the C. Q. I.(Constant Quality Improvement) system-constant quality improvement.The model is equipped with a handle made of nylon filled with fiberglass (FRN). This material is very light, but at the same time extremely durable. It is formed by casting, because its bidirectional textured surface is very securely held by the palm of the hand in all weather conditions.
