In 1990, Spyderco stirred up the world by bringing two knives to the market, Delica and Endura. Their success is explained by the reliability of the design, ease of operation, opening the knife with one hand, which they could not even imagine before. They are two of Spyderco's bestsellers, and they have continued to improve since then. During the presence of Endura and Delica on the market, their ergonomics have improved, the blade steel has been modified and the performance indicators have constantly increased. The result of this evolution were Endura4 and Delica4. Both models now have a screw design, cleaning has become much easier. Double frame guides in the stainless steel handle make the knife more durable, while not adding weight. On the reverse side of the blade there is a ribbed finger rest, as well as a branded hole for opening the knife. Bronze bushings soften the opening/closing the knife, and a 4-position clip can be installed at the top or bottom of the handle, both on the right side for a right-handed person, and on the left - for a left-handed user.
