Kershaw Launch 8 knife

Inspired by the design of classic Italian stilettos, Kershaw created the new Launch 8, which combines tradition with a modern approach. The blade is made of powder steel CPM-154 from the metallurgical concern Crucible Industries. This brand of steel is distinguished by long retention of the cutting edge, as well as the relative ease of its correction. In addition, this brand of steel gives the blade good corrosion resistance, wear resistance and impact strength. The blade is supplemented with a Stonewash coating, which effectively masks minor damage to the blade that occurs during use. The knife has a one-sided sharpening with a false blade on the reverse side. The automatic knife opening mechanism allows you to quickly bring the knife into working position. The handle is made of anodized aluminum with carbon fiber inserts, which gives the knife a fairly modern look. A light weight of 69 grams makes this knife one of the lightest in its class. In addition, the Kershaw Launch 8 is equipped with a double-sided pocket clip. The model is made in the USA.
