SKIF T-Rex OD Green Knife

The Skif T-Rex folding knife is a completely new model developed and released in 2019. The appearance of the Skif T-Rex creates the impression of a strong, uncompromising and impressive knife, just like the dinosaur with the same name. The blade is made of 9Cr14MoV alloy steel, which is almost identical to the popular Japanese AUS-8A steel. Unlike the second, no less popular steel 8Cr13MoV, the content of carbon and chromium in the 9Cr14MoV alloy is slightly increased, thanks to which it was possible to increase the hardness and anti-corrosion protection of the blade. The profile of the blade is American tanto with straight descents starting from the middle of the blade. Such a shape of the blade in the best way facilitates the use of the knife for pricking and cutting tasks. Notches on the upper part of the butt give greater control over the knife during use. Stone Wash coating is used to protect the blade from scratches, and in two variations: black or white (depending on the modification). The knife is opened with the help of a flipper. Extraction is very smooth - this was achieved thanks to the use of a ball bearing system - one of the main differences of the new generation of Skif knives. To fix the blade, one of the most reliable locks is chosen - Frame-Lock. The handle covers are made of fiberglass G-10 and are available in 3 colors: black, green and orange. The knife has a pocket clip, as well as a hole for a lanyard located in the upper part of the handle. Skif T-Rex is best suited for everyday use, however, it will be no less effective during a tourist trip or other outdoor activity.
