SKIF Tiger Paw Orange Knife

The Skif IS-250 folding knife is a completely new model developed and released in 2019. The drop-point blade is made of 8Cr14MoV alloy steel, which is almost identical to the popular Japanese AUS-8A steel. Unlike the second, no less popular steel 8Cr13MoV, the chromium content in the 8Cr14MoV alloy is slightly increased, thanks to which it was possible to increase the anti-corrosion protection of the blade. In the upper part of the blade, there is a pronounced false edge, the descents are straight and begin at a distance of 1/3 from the butt. Such a shape of the blade allows you to use the knife for both cutting and stabbing tasks. The direct descent from the butt provides the knife with excellent cutting qualities. To protect the blade from scratches, the Stone Wash coating is used, and in two variations: black or white (depending on the modification). The knife is opened with the help of a flipper. Extraction is very smooth - this was achieved thanks to the use of a ball bearing system - one of the main differences of the new generation of Skif knives. One of the most reliable locks - Frame-Lock - is chosen to fix the blade. The handles are made of G-10 fiberglass and are available in 3 colors: black, green, and orange. The knife has a pocket clip, as well as a hole for a lanyard located in the upper part of the handle. Skif IS-250 is best suited for everyday use, however, it will be no less effective during a tourist trip or other outdoor activity.
