Description of the Ganzo Touch Steel knife sharpener:

The Touch Steel sharpening tool will satisfy the needs of both beginners and experienced sharpeners. It allows you to restore the sharpness of kitchen, tourist, hunting knives, as well as scissors, chisels, planes, axes and other tools. For high-quality sharpening, the basic set of the sharpener includes four stones of different grits, designed for basic straightening of blades, sharpening and finishing. Also, you can purchase additional diamond and abrasive stones of the required grit for the sharpener. Changing them in this sharpener model is quite simple. Just slide the clamping block on the spring with your hands and install the necessary stone from the set.

The tool can be fixed with a clamping plate in a horizontal or vertical position during sharpening (depending on the type of tool being sharpened). Users with sufficient experience can hold the blade in the required position themselves.

Ganzo Touch Steel is designed for stationary use. The base of the sharpener even has holes for bolts for mounting on a table or board. In this case, the position will be rigidly fixed, and any slipping during work is excluded. But transporting the sharpening tool is also not a problem. The Touch Steel model has quite compact dimensions when folded due to the fact that its guide is collapsible and consists of two separate parts and a handle. The sharpener can be stored in the included case.

Unlike other Ganzo sharpeners, the Ganzo Touch Pro Steel model is completely metal, which increases its strength and durability. In addition, during sharpening, the blade can be fixed in the desired position using a steel guide plate. This feature guarantees complete safety for the user during sharpening the knife, but also imposes certain limitations. Metal parts can leave small scratches on the surface of the knife. Therefore, before sharpening, it is recommended to stick masking tape, electrical tape or any other protective coating on both sides of the blade that can protect the blade from direct contact with the metal of the guide plate and base.

Once sharpening is complete, the protective coating is easily removed. As a result, your knife will retain its beautiful appearance and become perfectly sharp for working with any materials.
