The durable abrasive belt is excellent for processing scissors and knife blades, not intended for primary sharpening. It provides excellent quality and high speed sharpening, which is much more convenient compared to mechanical sharpening of the blade.

The blade consists of a fine 1800 grit abrasive made of silicon carbide. The replaceable belt has a size of 1.27 x 30.48 cm, which is standard for the Work Sharp electric sharpener.
